Types of Best Pet Insurance in Las Vegas 2020

You have three main types of pet insurance that you can choose from in Las Vegas. As touched on above, comprehensive plans cover accidents, illnesses, and injury. A wellness plan is usually an add-on on top of the base plan. Wellness plans can cover routine, preventative, and wellness care. Some operate as a money-back plan that pays you up to a certain amount. Accident-only plans only cover accidents, of course.

The main benefit of these is how customizable they are in terms of monthly premiums. If you only want coverage in case of a major accident, like your dog gets hit by a car, accident-only coverage is a less expensive option. Base plans have different rates depending on what is all covered. And add-on wellness options are at an additional cost.

However, pet insurance does not cover pre-existing conditions. Some may if the pet insurer deems the condition curable. You can learn more about pre-existing conditions here.
